Ready for a day on the water? The Heroes on the Water – Rio Grande Valley Chapter invites our Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, and first responders to a day of community and South Texas fishing.

The Essentials

Cost: 100% FREE for heroes.

Time: 0700 – 1400

Perks: Lunch is on us! 🍔

Location: TBD (based on weather for the best experience).

We do not use Eventbrite or Facebook for sign-ups. All invitations are sent via email.

💡 Pro-Tips for a Great Day on the Water:

🛡️ Safety First: Life vests are required and must be zipped/buckled at all times while on the water.

🚫 Clean Vibes: HOW events are 100% alcohol and drug-free to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

☀️ Gear Up: South Texas weather changes fast! Check the forecast and dress to stay cool, warm, or dry.

🎒 The “Dry Bag” Essential: Bring a change of clothes (just in case of a splash!) plus your sunscreen, bug spray, and a hat or cap.

🪑 Personal Comfort: We recommend bringing a lawn chair so you’re guaranteed a comfortable seat at lunch!
