HEROES, guests, and volunteers must be with a designated HOW guide while on the water. Participants MUST wear personal floatation device (PFD) the entire time you are on/in the kayak.

You are required to sign a liability and media waiver prior to launching.

Food and drinks will be provided; however, you are welcome to bring your own snack/food/drinks. Once back on shore, we have social time so you may want to bring a lawn chair or something to sit on since many of our locations are primitive and may not have a place to sit.

As a precaution, we suggest you bring a dry set of clothing and towels, since this is water related event. You may want to have sunglasses, water shoes, hat, and sunscreen too. Be prepared for changing weather patterns.

Please be on time. If you are going to be late or decide not to attend, please message the Leadership Team via the Facebook Messenger. We want to ensure we provide a kayak to others who may be waiting.
