We are hosting a float from West Fairview Township Park to Susquehanna Outfitters in Wormleysburg.
HOW events are open to veterans, active duty service members, disabled vets, and first responders.
**If you are able to attend please mark “Attending” not just “interested”, also please post that you will be there and if you plan on bringing anyone with you. This way we can have an accurate head count for lunch and guides.
Volunteers/guides please meet at 7 am at West Fairview Township Park, 1 Front St. East Pennsboro Township. We will need shuttle drivers starting at 8 am to drive from Susquehanna Outfitters to the park.
Attendee’s please arrive at Susquehanna Outfitters at 333 S. Front St Wormleysburg starting at 8 am. Look for HOW Flags.
If you have dry bag, please bring it to keep your belongings safe. We also encourage you to bring a water bottle, hat, sunglasses and sunblock. If you have fishing gear you would like to bring, please feel free. We also proivide gear for participates.
We will cancel the event only in the event of thunderstorms.
Please do not park next to the launch. Also please evenly space the parking (6 per side).
Float will be from 8:30 am to 12 noon. Lunch will be provided. We may go out fishing after lunch around City Island
