The North Oregon Coast Heroes On the Water chapter will be putting on our fourth event for this year on Saturday, July 22nd. If you’re active duty or retired military or First Responder and would like to join us for a couple of days of kayak fishing the event will be held on the Nehalem River near Miami-Foley Rd and Foss Rd. We will begin on Saturday July 22nd at 0800 and conclude at 1500 with 8 Kayaks available for participants.
This will be on private land. We will email out the exact address to those volunteers and participants that sign up to attend.
Come and join us for a scenic couple of days on this serene part of the river. We will targeting Sea Run Cutthroat Trout.
We look forward to continuing to serve those who have joined us in the past and to introducing new people to the activity that we love. We hope that spending time on the water with us will bring the sense of peace and relaxation to each participant that it does to us.
Participants do not need to have previous experience on kayaks or fishing and will only need to bring a valid Oregon fishing license with them as well as dress for the weather and the water. We will provide all the necessary equipment, training, guidance, and an experienced on the water guide to help you enjoy the day.
