The North Oregon Coast Heroes On the Water chapter will be putting on our second event of 2023 on Saturday May 6th. If you’re active duty or retired military or First Responder and would like to join us for a day of kayak fishing the event will be held at Lake Lytle. We will begin at 0900 and conclude at 1500 with 8 Kayaks available for participants.
We look forward to continuing to serve those who have joined us in the past and to introducing new people to the activity that we love. Participants do not need to have previous experience on kayaks or fishing and will only need to bring a valid Oregon fishing license with them as well as dress for the weather (no cotton clothing. Man-made fabrics work best as they don’t hold water and will dry quicker if you get wet). We will provide all the necessary equipment training, guidance and an experienced guide to help you enjoy the day.
