This is a free kayak fishing event that will be held at Mallows Bay National Marine Sanctuary near Nanjemoy Md. All of the equipment that you need will be provided. We also provide lunch. Sign ups for participants will be through the National Park Trust website at:

Volunteer signups will be done through this eventbrite page. We are looking for on-the-water guides and ground support. We need people who are willing to filet the blue catfish that we catch so participants can take home fresh fish.

Weather Considerations: Events are rain or shine. It may be hot, so dress appropriately for weather. You will be notified if the event is cancelled for any reason.
You may get wet during the event. Its always a good idea to pack dry clothes for the drive home.
