The below waivers are required for all participants and volunteers.

Rules and Information:
- No ALCOHOL or DRUGS are allowed at HOW events
- Only trained service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted at HOW Events. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, therapy animals, and pets are not permitted; we are unable to make any exceptions.
- HEROES and guest are NOT allowed to be on/in a kayak(s) during the event without a designated HOW volunteer or required safety equipment
- Everyone MUST wear your personal floatation device (PFD) the entire time while you are on/in the kayak
- Please keep an eye on the weather and wear the proper attire to keep you cool, warm, or dry
- Bring a change of clothes, in case you get wet
